No actually its a ticket going to philippines for important matter good thing i ddnt book yet the tcket going to canada but still wasting of money sense the ticket is not repundable huhuhuhu

We can see the finish line in the distance. The long marathon has nearly come to an end. The crowd has cheered us through the last leg and just when you think its all over and the end is near....we have to virtually crawl on our knees to the finish line.....!! Trust CIC to really make us sweat every inch of the way from the first day of the IELTS Test to the very last day of getting COPR!

I am crawling on my bare knees and elbows, on tarmac too. Lol

Agreed. Especially in our case, we are waiting for the passports to travel immediately. Also, the school for the kids has already started.
But we have no choice........ lets be positive.

As after 12 days there was still no reply from ADVO on my extension request. I canceled my next two travel plans and submitted my passport at VFS Dubai yesterday.

Haysss feel you. we cant do anything, we are all hopeless, ours is like forever. 5 days from now is already 1 month waiting for the pasport to returned.

Since no ones status has changed yet, fair to say, this week is over and now you can expect it only next week!

Sunday will be 17th September so now it looks like it's taking a month for the passport to be returned!

i feel for you all, i was in exactly the same situation last month, cribbing and crying for them to send my passport back... took 23 days overall.

what I did do however is send a mail to VFS and "threaten" them that I need passport back, apparently they told this to atleast 3-4 other people who did the same that taking passport back for emergencies does not delay the process... they will apparently contact you once application is approved so you can submit again.

well - i also did the same, filled some form they sent and sent it back for passport withdrawl... and voala - got the application approved and passport back in the same week. exact same thing happened with the rest of the people who sent the passport withdrawl form.

i'm not saying you should do this, or I give guarantee that application will be approved faster - just saying you have this option available if required.
