im still waiting for any changes. they got my passport last august 1 thru aramex..really worried now

No need to worry now, i sent mines before you on 24th July, and still didn't get it back

So the funny thing is that my cic profile has been updated and my application has been approved and finalized. However, no news yet of the passports from vfs.

i thought that the profile gets updated a few days after the visa is stamped and i have received my passport. i am wondering where the delay is

That's good. At;east some movement for you. When did your profile get updated on cic like today and how did you know.. did you get an email to check for update on your cic profile?

The most important thing is that they have approved your visa

Relax ,they recieved mine on 31st and still nothing yet for me also,it takes around 14-15 days for most cases

Ok good news. I called them they said passport is ready. Check your status on vfs if it's says it's with the visa application center it means it's back. I just collected it !

it should be on the receipt provided to you by VFS e.g 201707.....CPPT.....

I sent mine via Aramex directly to the embassy.

I submitted on the 24th July. Still no update.

Thats over 2 weeks. It should hopefully be finalized by tomorrow.
