Hi All,

Maybe slightly off-topic but hoping people in UAE can help.
Do UAE banks provide the proof of funds letters in the required formats? If not, what did you show that was accepted for funds in UAE?

Thanks

For POF, do the following:

1. get 6 months bank statement (use your internet banking, take print and get sealed from your bank)
2. get a letter from the bank asking them to mention when the account was opened, account holder's name, type of account, etc. (they provide)
3. get a liability letter from your bank confirming your credit card outstanding, personal loan outstanding, car loan outstanding, etc. (its a drag, but keep insisting)
4.. If the average balance of your 6 months bank statement equates to the minimum settlement fund. You are good to go. Else show your FD receipts. Please bear in mind, the FD receipts should be minimum 6 months old.
5. In your LOE, you can also mention your average balance amount in CAD (use xe.com for conversion)

Good luck.

Thanks @whimsical
The liability is a standard letter that you pay for. Why do you need to insist?
So it's the average balance that's important and not the total amount as per the letter / bank statements?

Let's say the money in account is 100k. In the EE form when it says how much money will you bring with you - can you show a smaller amount or should it match your POF?

Thanks

Hello guys I have a question
Fellow EE applicants from UAE what are the requirements for PCC from UAE because we got a PCC that has date of issue and expiry of 3years? No residence dates clearly stated though?

Any thoughts?

In your EE form, just mention what is required as per your settlement fund requirement (depending on the number of people accompanying).

The POF should definitely match or be greater than this amount. But in no circumstances, your POF should reflect a lesser amount.

3 years or three months?

Mine says, the PCC is valid for 3 months

Question guys!

I've sent my passport for stamping and I might be getting married. So, does this hurt the process or it's fine and I inform them that I am married and include my spouse to my application. I know it's fine to do it after PPR but is it fine after the visa has been stamped?

And any idea what's the processing time for including your spouse after PPR or COPR?

Thanks

Does your PCC include your residency dates? It's wired ??

Yes. They mentioned the residency dates. These dates will be same dates which are stamped on your passport. They have also mentioned the passport issued date.

But the validity of your PCC is three months. It states in your PCC (look down, near the authorized signature).

Mine is issued from Abu Dhabi, as i reside here.

IMO, i think it should start from the date we landed in Canada after getting the COPR.

Yes from the date you land. Thats officially day ONE as a landed immigrant.

Anyone who got PCC from Qatar, while staying in UAE?

Please help me as I think the Qatar embassy in uae is no more operational.
