Just got our passport back from ADVO. Total processing time was 10 days although this could be due to the fact that I wrote a letter (when I sent our passports) stating I'll be travelling by the mid of June.

I heard from other members that it takes approximately 30 days after ADVO receives the passport. Ive sent mine on 18th May

Hi wifi....I got my passports back in 17 days i.e. 13th working day I received passport but it was released earlier so 12 working days. Good luck

Well, looking at the post in this group, can we conclude that AD is processing Jan'16 Aor?

Got our passports back with visa stamped. They also sent COPR, Immunization form for our child and an information letter regarding landing and the next steps.

It took 4 weeks for us to get our passports back from ADVO which might be due to the fact that we had submitted new passports as our old ones would expire soon. Though a separate request had been raised through CSE long before we received PPR and also received the confirmation that the info had been updated...

Passport sent/ delivered to ADVO: 30-Apr-16/ 2-May-16
Application approved: 26-May-16
Aramex return tracker activated:26-May-16
Received passports and COPR: 28-May-16

Patience pays off. But phew, for about 5.5 months, no communication. It must have been difficult. I am in that phase too. About 2.5 months and nothing as of yet.

A quick question, visa is valid till October? Or the medicals validity will expire by then? I heard usually visa is valid till 1 year.

sikkavarun, the visa is valid till the expiry of your medicals, or the expiry of any of the passports in the group - whichever is earlier. The 1 year figure is the validity of the medicals.

Thanks @Hot2Cold for your reply :)

And congrats @Rainforest for the visa. All the best.

Hey guys, any PPR's in this week from Jan AOR?

By the blessing of the Almighty, my Application got approved and closed. Does this mean my passport has been stamped and is on the way back home? How long can it take to get my passports back now?

Yes, your passports are on the way back. If you sent your passport by Aramex, your return tracker should be activated now and as it seems like you are based in Doha, Qatar, you will get your passports back by Sunday. By the way, I'm also from BD and based in Doha.

Thank you for the information. Fingers crossed. Lots of decisions and actions to make once I get the passport back. Great to know that you are a Bangladeshi. How long have you been in Qatar? Where are you working? Give me your phone number.

ADVO and the waiting game. My BGC has been in process since November 13th 2015. Maybe it stays in process till I receive PPR ;)
