Hey guya it's been almost 2 months since they received my docs in Abu Dhabi but until now I don't have any reply nor next step.
Im under a Fam sponsorhip,im currently working here in oman.

2 months is abnormally long even for ADVO. How did u send the app? Is it through aramex ?

Hi,

I sent our Passports to ADVO last March 13 and as per the status, its still processing. I would like to know how many weeks do we need to wait before they return it as my husband needs to go out of the country on last week of April for change visa.

Thank you..

Regards

What was the reply to your cse regarding updated passport info for your spouse and child.... :-X :-X

It was stated that they added to my application.

Do it in both ways CSE and Copy by courier to ADVO? However, I believe CSE is faster than other option.

Nothing harm to try both ways.

seeing the timeline on the submission of your passports, I guess by middle of April, you will get back your passports. Good luck :)

Oh ok. That's great.

Just curious, since you are taking a connecting flight in New york, do you have a US visit visa ?

I entered Calgary via Seattle.

BC is a good option, though rent can be slightly expensive. If BC, which city are you planning on?

Yes. I have US Visit visa which is valid for 10 years (Multiple entry-B1/B2).

Intially i thought to travel via London. But, i need to apply UK transit visa. As you aware i need to Land in Nova scotia directly other than any Province.

Finally, decided via New York and also more flights to US. One more added advantage is From New york to Halifax only 2 hours.

Ok it's good that you have a valid US visa. It's very much required even if you are travelling via US. I'm not sure about UK though. One of my friend traveled via London but he did not have a UK transit visa.

Since Nova scotia is your destination, it's a good decision to travel via New York. As you said correctly, you can reach Halifax soon. Halix is a beautiful coastal area.
