Seems like ADVO is working on July applications.. A friend recently got his PPR from ADVO and his AOR was in July as well. I just wish we had more data to test this theory.
Here's my timeline:
27 Oct Aor, Medicals passed 29 Oct. RPRF 27 Nov. BG not started.

They are clearly very slow in Abu Dhabi.... i think processing is done by both Ottawa and Abu Dhabi...each checks some part of the application....

I am not too surprised about the slowness of ADVO. It's the only VO responsible for the GCC including Yemen!

The largest number of applicants/immigrants comes from India and the DVO is pretty fast if not fastest...so it is no excuse for them to be this slow especially when we have PNP!!! Medicals passed also...just security remains : /

Well it appears to be the main reason. It is easier to run BC for citizens of one country than for several countries. The two VO's cannot be compared. Just imagine the BC for someone in Yemen at this time. The good thing is that most applications are processed within the six months timeline. Patience is the name of the game . Wishing PPR rain soon for us all.
