September 20, 2022 - We were requested with police clearances from Saudi Arabia and Syria as well as Syrian Military Book.

December 18th, 2022 - Syrian Police Clearance and Syrian military book submitted

March 19th, 2023 - Saudi Police Clearance submitted

I guess the next step is medical if no interview is required. Nothing yet though.

Timeline for PA:

- We received your application for permanent residence on February 10, 2021.
- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 25, 2021.

- 27/01/2022 start process and met the eligibility.

- 27/01/2022 the overseas office in ABU DHABI is responsible for processing the applications for permanent residence of my family members outside Canada.

- 29/01/2022 medical has been received.

- 25/03/2022 additional documents request.
- 25/03/2022 additional documents sent by webform.

- 03/06/2022 medical request again.
- 11/06/2022 medical pass.
- 13/06/2022 portal invitation.
- 14/06/2022 pre arrivals.
Portal has an issue showing address undefined.
- 22/06/2022 received ecop.
- 29/06/2022 received an email to upload my photo again. I uploaded it correctly this time.
- 07/11/2022 called IRCC asking about my PR card " they send internal email about my case as I passed the timeline for the PR card".
- 22/11/2022 received my PR Card, and the status of overseas family has been changed from "file received" TO "in process"




Overseas Family :

- We received your application for permanent residence on February 10, 2021.
- We started processing your application on September 24, 2021.
- December 15, 2021 we got G Number and checklist to be submitted within 30 days. (We used webfourm)
- 15/02/2021 Abu Dhabi VO send new checklist requirements to be send back by mail.
- 22/02/2021 Abu Dhabi VO received the required documents.
The status of Overseas Application : file received.

- 22/11/2022 The status of Overseas Application : in process
- 08/02/2023 pre-Arrival latter received.


Looking forward to hear good news soon.

Hello everyone. It has been a while since posts have been made. Just a recap regarding my dad's file.

Oct 2021: Docs in checklist requested from Abu Dhabi
Sep 2022: Police clearance clearance from & Saudi Arabia
Dec 2022: Submitted Syrian PCC & Military book
March 2023: Submitted Saudi PCC

November 16th, 2023: Medical Examination Request

Finally.

Hoping for the passport request soon as he already did biometrics for a previous visitor's visa application but they can still request new biometrics if they wish as the PR biometrics are now separate again. Any updates from you guys?

My dad's dependent of a protected person abroad PR application with Abu Dhabi has been finalized. Here's our timeline:

• In-Canada PR application submission: February 1st, 2018 (Mailed to CPC-Mississauga)
• In-Canada Principal Applicant PR landing: May 26th, 2020 (Virtual inside-Canada landing)

• Dependent's PR application forwarded to Abu Dhabi VO: October 26th, 2021
• Document Checklist Request by VO: October 28th, 2021
• Checklist Doc Submission by webform: December 19th, 2021
• Pre-Arrivals email: September 16th, 2022
• PCC Request from Syria and Saudi: September 20th, 2022
• PCC from Syria submitted: December 21st, 2022
• PCC from Saudi Arabia submitted: March 19th, 2023
• Medical Examination Request: November 16th, 2023
• Medical Examination Performed: November 18th, 2023
• Application finalized and passport request for visa stamping: November 24th, 2023
• Passport submitted in-person through VFS Global - Riyadh, KSA: November 26th, 2023

We were told that it should be around a week from submission to get the passport back. Good luck everyone!
