ABU DHABI VISA OFFICE LOST MY PASSPORT AND THEY WON'T ADMIT !!

Hi

I am in a very desperate situation.

It has been more then 50 days since I sent the passport and still I didn't get the passport ! Aramex shows delivered with a signature.

The Abu Dhabi office initially indicated that the passport is in queue and will issue the visa in couple of days. They later indicated in an email 2 days later that they are yet to receive the passport ! This means they claim they didn't receive the passport or accidentally lost it somewhere.

Now it has been 2 weeks and still no confirmation from them whether they lost the passport or what is their side of the story. Unfortunately, EMAIL is the only way of communication. Plus, they used to only respond an MP inquiry. Now they don't even bother to respond to the MP inquiry.

What is the best way to get in touch with the office ? Apparently, they don't even have a phone number to call or even an urgent line to call.

I am desperate and frustrated with this.

Sorry to hear about your troubles mate

We had faced a sort of similar situation around 3 years ago with my parents' passports. Abu Dhabi office did not reply to any emails and yet FedEx (They had not yet stipulated that we MUST use Aramex) showed that the passports had been delivered safely. Anyway, we finally got the call from FedEx to come and collect our passports more than 2 months after they had been delivered to Abu Dhabi office. So don't lose hope, sometimes Abu Dhabi office just takes ages in returning the passports.

crap man! Abu dhabi takes ages? I just applied online last week and I hope to God I get the visa, ASAP lol
