Abu Dhabi VAC Fees

I just mailed my passport along with the passport request letter and consent form to Abu Dhabi office for my application (Bahraini citizen).

We have to use Aramex and pay the shipping charges for a return air bill.

I just read that they want VAC fees. What is that? Isnt that the same as the fee I had to pay for Aramex delivery?

How many calendar days did it take for the TRV to be approved?
