passport under process at IRCC since 11 august
anyone facing similar timeline.
Any idea when will passport stamping done???

PPR - 16th September 2020
Passport sent to VFS Kuwait - 28th September 2020
Passport Under process at IRCC Abu dhabi - 7th October 2020
Till now no update - 5 weeks have passed...

Why is it taking so much time? Did u investigate with VFS? Isnt this abnormal?

I really dont know... like you want to stamp it tell me or you dont want to stamp it still tell me but this is lnsane when did you get your passport back?

I submitted my passport to Qatar VFS on 9th November.
I got my PPR for study permit on 8th November.
So far it's saying that it's in IRCC office for processing. No updates after that.

I am not sure whether the delay is from Abu Dhabi or IRCC office in London who did the process or from where...
But this is ridiculous, Asking someone's passport is a huge deal and how come embassy can keep it for so long without a strong justification..
I did email them twice through webform. This past Tuesday, the admin put my application as high priority on email and sent it to processing department. Hoping that it might force them to look into my case urgently..
