Hey!

I'm a bit confused with the the absent calculator. For context:
  • My first work permit (IEC) expired Feb 2020
  • I was waiting on PR, which was rejected April 2020
  • I applied for BC PNP Visa, which was approved July 2020. At which point I had to leave the country until it was issued in Sept 2020.
  • I got PR July 2022

On the Absence Page when I enter the date ranges I was out of Canada, the # of days (which auto populates) doesn't seem to add up properly:

1. They all seem to be counting as half days when I was on a temporary permit (IEC visa and then BC PNP visa)
2. When I was on PR it is counting as whole days (the bold italic line in the table)

Is this correct?
I can't see anything on the website so a bit lost and just want to make sure everything is correct before submitting.

Days before you became a PR count as a 1/2 day credit up to 1 year of pre--PR credit. Post PR days count as a full day. That is correct.

Oh I thought it was only days in Canada that counted as 0.5 pre PR, assumed they would have counted all absences as 1.

Thanks
