I'm a bit confused with the the absent calculator. For context:
On the Absence Page when I enter the date ranges I was out of Canada, the # of days (which auto populates) doesn't seem to add up properly:
1. They all seem to be counting as half days when I was on a temporary permit (IEC visa and then BC PNP visa)
2. When I was on PR it is counting as whole days (the bold italic line in the table)
Is this correct?
I can't see anything on the website so a bit lost and just want to make sure everything is correct before submitting.

- My first work permit (IEC) expired Feb 2020
- I was waiting on PR, which was rejected April 2020
- I applied for BC PNP Visa, which was approved July 2020. At which point I had to leave the country until it was issued in Sept 2020.
- I got PR July 2022
