Hi guys, I need to know what exactly does this mean because I was in my home country when my father, who is a Canadian citizen, visited for a month, is it possible to maybe use that towards my 730 days?
I wasn't, but I am applying for travel document for permanent resident right now and it has a box for
'absence while accompanying a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident outside Canada- relationship to you- spouse, common law, parent'
it doesn't mention it is only for minors.
Time spent outside Canada may also count towards the two years if you are:
-travelling with your spouse or partner who is a Canadian citizen,
-a child [1] travelling with his or her father or mother who is a Canadian citizen,
-an employee of (or under contract to) a Canadian business.
1: A child is someone under the age of 19 who has never been married or been in a common-law relationship.
Thank you so much, I appreciate it
One more thing- in the forms I am asked to list all jobs in the last 5 years, i had like 10 of them, some just a few weeks, should i list all?
