Hi,

I am prashant ghediya from Gujarat-India. I have applied for student visa under spp program in canada. I have already got my offer latter from Humber college, ontario, Canada. I have applied for 2 years diploma course named ' mechanical engineering technician '. I did 10+12+diploma+B.E. in mechanical from here india. But problem is I have some ATKT (Backlogs) in 12th and diploma mark-sheet. I have some 20 ATKT during diploma and 12th result is very poor. But at the same time I did diploma in 3 years only. There is no gap between diploma and degree. My B.E result was excellent . I got 70 percentage in B.E.

Now, I am applying for diploma course 'mechanical engineering technician' in Humber college, Canada. So, please tell me everyone what is percentage of getting visa? Do you think that my poor track record during 12th science and diploma will create a problem during visa? Do you think that I have advantage of doing B.E. ? Is there any reason for rejection of Visa?

Please, tell me in details how to get visa.

Thank you,

Prashant

Since you already have an offer letter from a recognized Canadian constitution, this is the only relevant document for the Canadian Embassy / Visa office. I doubt they'd go into such trivial details and judge your results. They're not there to critique your results. As long as you tick all the boxes as per requirement of student visa, specifically the proof of funds requirement, you should be good to go. Satisfy the visa office that you are a genuine student, and your visa should be in order. Read up the documentation on the CIC website in detail.

*Speaking from personal experience as I have a sibling who went to Canada to study on student visa*

Thanks a lot sir. Your answer will really encourage me for upcoming process. And yes we have attached all the relevant and necessary documents for the visa process. I only doubt about my education record specially my 12th and diploma results. Because, according to our consultant here in India, we have only 50 or 60 percentage chance for getting visa. Any suggestions/advice on that ? Please, tell me in detail for my secure future. Anything from your side is really appreciable.

Thanks a lot for your time.
