Good day everyone,

I have just completed all the forms and gathered all documents for outland spousal sponsorship. I would appreciate any advice in relation to my wife's and I specific case.

Firstly, we are a young couple newly wed. Both of us are 20 years old, I was born in Canada, grew up in the Caribbean and my wife is from the Caribbean. We meet each other whilst in college and have been together ever since totalling 2 plus years now.

We are preparing to begin our lives together in Canada. I consider our application to be a very strong one but my wife is concerned about a few issues.

1. We are married only one month now.
2. We are not currently living together as she still lives at home with her parents.
3. Her parents were unable to attend the wedding ceremony... my father is deceased but my mother and cousins were there, her cousins were there also (9 persons were present).
4. My wife was denied a visitors visa 6 months ago based upon lack of assets, my mother and her applied together as relatives and my aunt in Canada wrote the invitation letter. My mother got her visitors visa but my wife was turned down.

We have strong supporting documents except for those reasons above:

1.We have 12 letters from friends and family, including my mother's.
2.We have pictures together of us at our college graduation ceremony.
3. We have pictures of my mother, her and I at my father's funeral
4. Emails, text, sms, WhatsApp, Facebook messenger etc of convos between us between 2016-2018
5. pictures of us at various places and at different times.
6. Screenshots of conversation between my mother and my wife in the past, between my wife and my relatives in Canada, and between my wife and her friend speaking about me
7. We have proof of financial support (bank funds transfer receipt)
8. Social media proof of a public relationship
the list goes on.....

I also have strong proof of intent to travel as I have a current sale agreement for my home that I have inherited from my father and real estate listings for other assets that my father left for me. I have many emails to real estate agent in Toronto where I have begun house hunting. I have emails between my wife and I speaking about us being eager to migrate to Canada.

I also have solid proof of my ability to financial support her when we get to Canada.

I have also included notarized copies of our graduation certificates so that it is easy for them to prove that we went to college together.
We included also a copy of my Will, stating my wife and any children to be born to us as beneficiaries of my estate.
We have explained why we have no proof of visits as we live so close that it only takes a 30 minute bus ride for us to be together and buses don't give receipts, we even have pictures of me driving her home one evening in my car.

I would appreciate any advices in regards to how to further strengthen our application and to improve on its weaknesses. Also, what issues do you possibly foresee the immigration offer finding with our application?

Thanks a million.

Dont have answers to it all but here goes

Time as to how long youve been married ir irrelevant. We got married feb 4 and app was in feb 27

Living together -many people apply and dont live together. Isnt uncommon

Proof - only provide what they ask for. 10 pages of Messages, 20 photos max

You should be fine!! Good luck

Thank you for the information friend. It's appreciated.
However could you also give me some info in regards to IMM 5532 form Part C, No. 4...
If we have been meeting multiple times per week since the beginning of our relationship, how do we fill that into the timeframe & "who visits whom" space? This question seems to be tailored more for long distance relationships. Thanks again.

Thanks again.

I'm doing an outland application as a Canadian citizen living outside of Canada with intentions of returning.

Do you think if I am to visit Canada prior to my wife's PR approval that would cause any issues? Say for instance if I am to visit for 2-3 months to prepare for her arrival. Could that be consider by CIC as misrepresentation of location/ change of address?

IMM 5532 form, Part A, No. 4

What is the required response for the highest level of education question? I am to select just the option that indicates my highest level of education and type the amount of years for just that single level or am I to select all my previous education levels attained until the highest mentioning the number of years for each level?

I'd appreciate if you can help me out with these again. Thank you so much.
