I filed for a PR under CEC in April and didnt get any medicals request. I filed my GCMS and got a reply today. It says that supporting docs does appear to match exactly no of duties for the selected NOC code or looks exact match as in given Noc.
Review required by officer, work experience does NOT meet requirements.
My job title and NOC code (2171) was carefully chosen and was signed by HR.
I haven't received any official communication though, what should I do now, please help
Here are the duties i kept in schedule 8 form. I just kept only 3 duties and i didnt attach any extra sheet to add more. I thought they will look at the reference letter provided.

• Working with the clients to prioritize and rationalize the requirements.

Information Technology standards
B. Research, Evaluation, and Certification
• Researches and evaluates technical solutions to meet functional requirements.
• Prepares business cases and cost benefit analyses.
• Translates end user "wants" into a clear definition of requirements.
• Prepares and/or assists business units to prepare test scripts.
• Certifies proposed design solutions.
• Thoroughly tests integration of new applications.
C. Project Management/Miscellaneous

What should i do now. Should i send any updated reference letter or wait until second officer review my file. Feeling tense..send me the email or address if you say me to update the reference letter. My bowp is going to expire in month of april 2014. I think i am screwed.....Please help me
ok, I just read your duties, and I work as software engineer too,
I need ponder a moment to accept that it is matched. so it is not surprise for the VO to say it is not matched.
I checked your duties in below way.
firstly , you list too many items which force me to figure out the point sentence of them .
so , as you organized in this way, I would pick the A B C three sentence as guide.
unfortunately, you can try to match the ABC to the 2171 you listed. they can't match well at all.

there is no plans keyword in your ABC so this item mismatched.
B it about 3 action words, can't match analyze in 2171 too.
C is project management doesn't match anything in 2171 from reading outside.
now that I am also an software engineer.
I can understand that you actually have done this job. e.g develop a project including test job. but who knows that , even I will assume develop means coding job .
in short, you just put everything in a bad , then let VO to figure out . this is not polite.
you whole duties description should treat VO as an kid .
you need remove something to clear your point,
you need change words to more specific.
if you don't, they would n't figure out what's your major duties. even after they agree you have done the 2171 duties. after long and long meeting review .
they will be tired with it.
just hope your second review will be ok, hope that VO is really know all the words you have given them.
Suggestion:
1. you can't change your duties now . delete or add something is kind of cheating behavior once the procedure started. in that more trouble will come.
2. all you can do is explain it as you can . e.g explain what's mean develop, which part you done most, which part you just interfere with .
clear your role close to 2171 . not just cover it as you think.
but any explain must be sgined by your boss. or else, they can reject use it.
