Getting a teaching job is very very diffucult. My kids school have all native staff. They are so fussy in selecting teachers. I am yet to see any new immigrant getting teaching job here in Canada. Will look forward to see observation from other members.

I doubt it very much. First you will have to re do your qualifications and get an educator degree to be able to teach in Canada.

Second, I spoke to a friend on the Vancouver school board and although she could only speak for the Vancouver area, they have never employed anyone that does not have English as a first language to teach English, in any section of the education ladder.

Maybe private colleges are more accommodating, I suggest you do some research in that area and find out.

Since you are from Morocco, you may be able to teach Arabic.

You can do anything you qualify your self to do. At present, you are not qualified to teach. Your current credentials, as noted by you, do not have substantial value in Canada and English is not a foreign language. BTW, English would be capitalized, as would Canada.

I know many people from the middle east going to Canada to study English and then do a university program, you being a native Arabic speaker whom capable of teaching English is going to be an advantage for you, why? many of these students when they first come they cant speak English at all, having you there is an advantage for that English language school. Furthermore, many of them would look for privet tuition and privet teacher for themselves of their kids, and they prefer someone who can speak with in Arabic sometimes to explain cretin things to them.

Finally, i don't see a reason why you should not get a job, however, i recommend you to focus on some publication, research work and building a portfolio for you showing the type of students you trained, their nationality and such, so when you settle in Canada you can have a good profile to teach.
