MY NAME IS INDER , I M STUDYING IN AUSTRALIA FROM LAST 2 YEARS , BUT I WANT TO MOVE IN CANADA BECAUSE ALL MY RELATIVES ARE IN CANADA , I FEEL ALONE HERE , I DONT HAVE AUSTRALIAN PR YET. NOW I WANT TO APPLY FOR STUDY VISA FOR CANADA , JUST TELL ME HOW LONG IS THE PROCEDURE AND WHAT ABOUT THE WORK CONDITIONS AND WHAT ABOUT THE PR , IS I M ELIGIBLE TO GET A STUDY VISA FOR CANADA

Proceedings of study permit/visa applications is not a lenghty process comparing with PR application. You may check the website of Canadian Consulate in Australia about the required timing for study permit/visa.

As an internation student, you are eligible to work 20 hours per week after completion of your 2nd consequtive semester. You have to obtain a work permit for that. It is not a complex procedure.

Once you are in Canada as a student, you can apply for PR. It is a lenghty process. However, if you have relavant job experiences and arranged job these factors will enhance your application.

My opinion is that you come to Canada as an student. Canada allows international students to stay up to 3 years (depending on their duration of program). Even you do not have PR you do not need to worry about leaving the country after completion of your degree.

My another advise to you, be careful while applying for student visa/permit, you have to proof that you have no intention to stay in Canada (I know it sounds bizzare but that is the condition of issuing you a student visa). Show that you will return to your country and you have enough tidings to your native country.
