Hey there,
I am currently on work permit. I've finished Chemical Laboratory Technician diploma from Seneca College.
I've three questions to ask in total.
1) I've been offered a "student co op laboratory technician" position in a prestigious company. Where I would be working as a normal temporary employee. its just that the position assigned to me is student coop lab tech.So if I work under this position then will it be considered as a valid experience to get eligible for PR under CEC category?
2) And I've done chemical lab technician but if I work as a Lab technician in any company then will it be considered as a valid experience in order to get eligible for PR under CEC or Do I have to work under a position that's exactly same as my program's name like chemical lab technician??
3) Do I have to have a permanent offer letter when I am applying for PR under CEC category?
Thanks.

Yes, you would be eligible. if you gain you gain 12 months of experience, with min of 30hrs/week. Make sure you have 12 months only on Post Graduation Workpermit... Do not include experience gained while you were student.
2) And I've done chemical lab technician but if I work as a Lab technician in any company then will it be considered as a valid experience in order to get eligible for PR under CEC or Do I have to work under a position that's exactly same as my program's name like chemical lab technician??
No, as long as you gain 12 months of experience in any of skilled jobs.
3) Do I have to have a permanent offer letter when I am applying for PR under CEC category?
You don't have to get a permanent offer.. even contract jobs works...Only thing you have to keep in mind(you shouldn't be self employed, like paying taxes to CRA by your self)
Thanks.
I assume this is your NOC code,,, Please verify it.

I would be very careful about this. Chances are very good that CIC will not accept it if they write "Student co-op" in the letter; or they may refuse to write the letter - student co-op positions are only supposed to be offered to students (it's a corporate tax deduction), so the CRA might not be too happy with them. And I think they are supposed to be for a maximum of 4 months. So before you accept it, you should clarify - will they be willing to put it in writing for your immigration application? Is this a potential path to a real position?

2) Do I have to work under a position that's exactly same as my program's name like chemical lab technician??

No. You can work as a cook if you want. As long it is a legitimate hire, it is classified as "skilled," and you can document it.

3) Do I have to have a permanent offer letter when I am applying for PR under CEC category?

No, not for CEC.
