1-Are there any difference between the resume format from the US and Canada? (Considering that I will be living in Toronto).
2- If I apply for jobs in Canada, will Canadian employers consider my application even thought I am still living in the US, but planning in moving there in about 3 months?

Thank you

Hello,

There is really no difference between the US and Canadian formats unless you are in Quebec, where you would want to highlight your language skills.

It would be a good idea to use a friend's Canadian address on your resume, if you can.

I got job offer last week in from Canada in Edmonton. I am a licensed civil engineer working in US for last 5 years. There is no difference in resume format between US and Canada. I applied from US and gave my US address and phone number in resume. They did phone interview and then checked all references after which they called me there for a face to face. According to me, just be honest with your current location and situation.
