i am planning to sponsor my spouse in april 2016. my spouse is working in india currently and is a nepalese citizen. He is planning to quit his job and come back to nepal in january 2016. As i see the sponsorship forms, its mentioned to not quit the current job. is it only for the sponsor or also applicable for the perso being sponsored?

Thanks

The meaning is not to quit jobs or do any changes in your life based on the anticipation and assumption that you will be in Canada very soon. It can take a while for sponsorship be processed.
Both PA and sponsor can continue living their life as normal while application is being processed, i.e. changing jobs, moving to different places, etc.

What he would do after quitting that job?

Start new job in nepal or prepare to come to Canada?

For now he is planning to prepare for ielts and help his fathet in his business in Nepal. Even if he plans to get a job in Nepal it will take 3/4 months to get a new job.
Is it wise to leave the job in India or to continue further.

This is my opinion.

if he can quit the job after he send off his app, he might wanna do that.

otherwise, he can explain a letter for reasons : to work for family business and study for Ielts for future in Canada etc.
