If your wife traveled for more than 6 months at a stretch outside Canada or your country of origin, then yes, she will have to provide police certificate.

??? Regardless of whether she has traveled, if she is over 18 years of age, she needs to provide a PCC for every country (except Canada) she has lived in for at least 6 months, INCLUDING country of origin.

Yep, country of origin was my bad! Don't know what I was thinking. What I meant to say was if she has been in Canada since the age of 18 and has not left Canada for more than 6 months, including country of origin, then you are technically not required to provide any PCC's. Of course you can be asked for one at a later stage.

To make things easier to understand:
If lived in any country for more than 6 months (after the age of 18) other than Canada, then PCC is required for that country for all applicants over 18 years.

Do I need her home country pcc
Yes. Its for criminality check. PCC is a must for home country. Both applicants husband and wife should provide the PCC (home country)
