I had my Masters degree before from that only I got my college admission to 1 Year post graduate program .
1 Year program was eligible if you have a Degree before according to OINP
Did your PG program also allow those with a diploma or work experience or was your program strictly for those with degrees? If it was at a college then most likely allowed diploma holders. If you had studied at a university then most PG programs are for degree only.
  • One-year programs are ineligible if they require a “degree or a diploma”, or “a degree or work experience”, or similar, regardless of whether you personally completed a degree program prior to being accepted into the one-year program.

Dont take me in wrong way, I am asking you this because, they did assesment on your application and at that time they did not found any query, but during DIP they refused. This does not make any sense, as assesment is stage to verify if you are eligible or not or if they need more doucment form your side.

If they have to refused application due to this issue then why they wait this long?
I really can't understand they cannot changed the law to people who have already applied with the previous requirement when program was opened .
May be they they don't have any more quota .

Then ask for an internal review (it is on the website). There are no laws around PNP programs. Ontario could close the program tomorrow. The program is adjusted constantly to address skill shortages.

Again there are no laws. All you can do is ask for an internal review and state that the current eligibility requirements were not in place when you applied.
For your information there is Law in ontario ( OINP) please check
I cannot ask for internal review they still not refused or rejected yet but I must response to them with my eligibility with all these points.

You mean to say before I response to the mail you recommend to ask for internal review ?

Hi everyone. Question: after you received nomination (international student stream), you have to submit paper based application. Checklist shows birth certificates as mandatory documents. So my husband’s and my birth certificates were translated in Ukraine by official translator. This is what I submitted, but now I found info that if you apply from Ontario, every document you attach must be ATIO certified which means my certificates are wrong, right? What can I do now? I already sent all paper documents... I’m so worried :(

Ok. If you can show me the law, please do so.

If you haven’t been refused refer to https://www.ontario.ca/laws/regulation/170422#BK7 (section 6) and that the new regulations haven’t been changed.

What is ATIO certified ? Since all your documents are certified by a notary public with translation, it's OK.
Translation of documents
You must submit the following for any document that is not in English or French, unless otherwise stated on your document checklist:

  • the English or French translation; and
  • an affidavit from the person who completed the translation (if they’re not a certified translator); and
  • a certified copy of the original document.
.......
Outside of Canada:
  • a notary public
Authority to administer oaths varies by country. Consult your local authorities.
So I believe that all translations are always be sworn by translator and then a notary confirm about that affidavit, something like "I swear that it's the correct translation of document" and "I certified that..". Well it depends from countries to countries but I believe it's good since it mentions about "local authorities".

I have only translation itself saying this:
“I, certified translator NAME, certify this to be a true translation of the original document which I have seen”.
Stamp and signature
It was not done in front of notaries, so it means I need to get affidavit as well?
