Are you serious on this ?They are probably going to "borrow" and discount the surplus from their 2021 quota
Last year at the yearend they got additional spaces from the Federal govt, to that not all that apply really will meet the minimum requirements for some reason lastly some do withdraw their nominations and opt for other streams or provinces.According to OINP total quota is 7300 all streams
Till 8th Oct 2020 they have given 6100 nomination then they will have only 1170 Nominations left to full fill 7300 quota
But Student stream and Master Stream total registration is around 2400 in this case OINP short of 1170 Quota to full fill ?
Pls advise expert comment
But how many going to be withdraw or meeting requirements let's say 100 but still 1000 quota is short for 2020Last year at the yearend they got additional spaces from the Federal govt, to that not all that apply really will meet the minimum requirements for some reason lastly some do withdraw their nominations and opt for other streams or provinces.

I only talked about International student & Masters stream apart from another 5 streams candidates awaiting Nominations from various streams .
I remember before Student Draw it was 4800According to OINP total quota is 7300 all streams

You are trying to say that this is minus figure after student stream was opend ?I remember before Student Draw it was 4800
https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/ontario-pnp-oinp-2020-discussion-join-here.671292/page-69
So if you count master stream + student stream you will have number you want .
And please remember that there is extra 250 slots for NOC C temporary foreign worker.
I believe it's more than enough.
https://www.ontario.ca/page/oinp-application-processing-times-and-nominations-issued
And based on that page it said "as of October 8, 2020, 6,180 nominations have been issued", I don't get the logic here, but from the same page it was 4800 before Student Draw.
So if we do some calculation we can see that 1366 nomination have been issued.
https://www.cicnews.com/latest-immigration-news.html/page/10
And if you check CIC news you can see that after student draw it also had 703 HCP invitations also. If you combine that number with master stream + student stream + NOC C stream you will have headache.
So I believe we just can pray for the good thing now (finger crossed) and forget about the math .
I really don't know I even called OINP they haven't give me clear pictureWhat will happen to them who won’t get their nomination because of the number of applicants OINP decided?
Pending applications will go forward for 2021 or they have to apply again from very beginning stages (from registration fro OINP).
Strange, the total number seems confusing. You are trying to say that this is minus figure after student stream was opend ?
According to OINP current nomination given 6100 we should go by figures in that case more likely some rejections will come cos they don't have quota unless if they bring back from 2021
Stream | Number of nominations |
---|---|
Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream | 1,347 |
Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills Stream | 19 |
Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream | 1,195 |
PhD Graduate Stream | 234 |
Masters Graduate Stream | 805 |
Ontario’s Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream | 639 |
Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream | 2,710 |
Ontario’s Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream | 401 |
Entrepreneur Stream | 0 |
NOC C Pilot | 41 |
Grand total | 7,391 |
I'm pretty sure they need to bring back some quotas from 2021Strange, the total number seems confusing.
Up till now, we have 3 tech draw + 3 HCP, 2 student draws and 2 worker draws.
The numbers I found in cicnews are: HCP 703 + TD 1288 + TD 703 + HCP 699 + TD 905 + XXX HCP (I cannot found that one)
French worker is 307 + 242. Skilled Trade is about ~1000
If you count all numbers I listed you will have ~5847 + XXX for all Express Entry related streams. So it means we just have ~1000 ( I don't count minor streams like Rural Pilot or enterpreneur) for students and workers, which does not make sense. So I go with theory OceanBacon said maybe there are some extra counts from last year.
If we take a look at 2019 chart we can see that student + workers got the most invitations
