I applied my student visa file on 26june Under sds but i do not get my visa yet.Even my classes started by 8th of august 2018 and i already sent a email to immigration department but i do not get any response yet.so what i can do.

No ,if u get any update please let us know .Most probably they will start giving offer letters in September.

hey guys
i am kinda new to the student route as helping my brother to get his student visa,
he got his admission for a advanced diploma 3 year course from seneca college, for jan 2019 intake,
he has already finished his bachelors in B.pharmacy,
i know advance diploma is same level as bachelors but he got admission in advance diloma biotechnology,

he will pay 1st year tution fee and also GIC, and also show funds in indian saving acount,
do you think he has slim chances of getting a visa as he is applying for a advance diploma after completing his bachelors?

secondly while doing online visa application , is there some thing special he needs to do to be eligible in SDS stream?
i am asking this because when doing online application its just the same forms and it doesnt specify weather its SDS or general category?

Hi,

On my offer letter 6000 CAD is mentioned to book the seat in first semester and i have submitted 6000 CAD for second semester means total 12000 CAD but annual fee is more than that amount . My band score is 7.5.

Please confirm am i eligible under SDS?

Dear Sir/Ma'am,
I have applied for September intake 2018-19, i have relevant work experience of 2 years after graduation studies, and I applied in the same field for post graduation studies, I have 6 bands in each module and (6.5 overall). I paid my fee for the first semester to the college before this SDS system came, but for some reason i didn't file my application because I received my fee slip so late from college. Here I want to to mention that my fee is higher than the normal post graduation programs as it is design program, which costs much. It's around $27000 CAD, and there are 3 semesters in this one year program. As i already made payment to the college for 1 semester and then got to know about SDS, so I had no option left at that moment, I filed under General category, because of the payment of 1 semester fee. My file is good in other ways except this fee column. I just wanna ask that does it really effect my application that I submitted only 1 sem fee? How is the success rate of general category?

Hi, Did you get your Visa, as my situation is the same. I applied on August 13th 2018 for Jan 2019 intake and i still did not receive any update. It says still under precessing. I paid 1 semester fee and GIC, mine is also a 1 year post graduation diploma program. Please let me know if you got your Visa.

Hello Experts,

I am planning to apply to Canadian Universities for a 2 Year full-time program MBA programme.

I am 36 and have 8.5 years of work exp in Marketing . My IELTS score is 7.5 band (all sections above 6.5).

I have completed my graduation, Btech in IT 56%(with backlogs) in 2007 . Post that i have completed Post Grad Programme in Marketing (66%) 2008-10 but from an unrecognised college (as per WES) and thus want to pursue post grad again.

I can pay full year fees and GIC (for me ,wife and child) and can finance my studies .
What are my chances of approval /rejection under SDS ? Kindly Suggest .

Hi I got admission to University of new brunswick Saint john campus for MBA intake of Sept 18. I applied for visa under SDS on 27th June. My medical is also done. Any idea in how many days I will get visa?

I would suggest to go for a 2year program at least so that you may get up to 3 years of PGWP. With a 1yr PGWP, unless you get a job immediately, you will not have that 1 year of Canadian work experience.

It is highly recommended to retake IELTS to get a better score. But there are applicants who were able to get approval with a minimum of 5.5 in one band
