About Medical Check (Outland)

As my spouse applied for work permit and he completed medical check in Sep this year, after that we received ITA and proceed our PR application at this moment.
As IRCC send us the request form of medical check up, the medical center refused my spouse to proceed his medical check because anyone who completed medical check within 4 months are not required to complete a new medical check (According to the staff and they showed us their internal guideline). They suggest us to inform IRCC to link his old medical check (Work Permit) result to the current PR application.

I already sent the webform to IRCC to clarify this matter, however I still worried a lot at this moment. Would like to hear any past experiences or opinions from you guys on this matter!
Also, anyone knows if outland applicant should repeat a new medical check whenever we apply PR?

It looks weird. Try another medical center. It's maybe not required but definitely doable, especially if it's requested by IRCC.

sadly in my city there is only one designated medical center, but i hope IRCC would accept the one my spouse did in Sep
and the center said they can still proceed the medical check if IRCC said so

They will only proceed if IRCC confirm the medical check should be repeated again for PR application. Need to show them the email if IRCC reply

But you mentioned that IRCC had already send you the request form of medical check up? Why didn't it work for them?

It seems that they have an internal protocol stating that anyone whose medical check done within 4 months are not suggested to repeat again regardless of what you are applying. They even rejected us when we said we don't mind paying the fee again…They just simply said it is meaningless to repeat within 4 months (not sure if it is their in house rule or guideline from ircc).

The centre will only proceed if we clarify it with IRCC and IRCC need to reconfirm the need to repeat it. Therefore I sent a webform already.

That's a weird situation. Did you show them your medical request?
