Dear Friends,
I hope you all are doing well. I am representing (as an unpaid representative) Mr Joginder Singh from India for his visitor visa. His wife Parminder Kaur is accompanying him to Canada. In this case Joginder Singh is a principal applicant and Parminder Kaur is accompanying family member. I am applying their case from my MyCIC account as they are not able to file their application. There is a form in MyCIC known as “IMM 5713E: USE OF A FAMILY MEMBER REPRESENTATIVE FOR ONLINE APPLICATIONS”. This form is for family members who wish to apply online together in one MyCIC submission. To do so, all members must complete this form (one per family) to appoint the family member whose MyCIC account will be used to submit the applications.
Because this form is “to appoint the family member whose MyCIC account will be used”, but we are not using the MyCIC account of Joginder Singh, rather I am using my MyCIC account to file the application. So I am confused whether should I write “Joginder Singh” in “SECTION A - FAMILY MEMBER REPRESENTATIVE”?. I think his name is to be written in this section, but I am using my MyCIC not Joginder’s MyCIC. I cannot write my name in this section because in sub-section 3(Information on the family members) of Section-A, there is a column “Relationship to family member representative” and Parminder Kaur has no relationship with me, rather she is spouse of Mr Joginder Singh. There is a separate form of “Authorized Representative” in which I will represent Mr Joginder Singh as an unpaid representative.
I am just asking this question because there is a statement in this form:
“To do so, all members must complete this form (one per family) to appoint the family member whose MyCIC account will be used to submit the applications.”
Please guide me that should I write “Joginder Singh” in “SECTION A - FAMILY MEMBER REPRESENTATIVE”? Your help will be highly appreciated.
