about foreign degree getting ECA

Hello, I have a question about the foreign degree getting the Education Credential Assessment (ECA). If I have a master degree from Canada and a bachelor degree from a foreign country. Does it make a difference in CRS points in entry express if I only use the canada master degree in the entry express profile? Because it takes a long time for my home country and ECA center to certify my undergrad degree diploma, and I need to go into the express entry system now.

So do I get more points for certifying my undergrad degree? Or I can just simply use my master degree in canada, because I use the CIC CRS point calculator and it seems there is no difference between the two?

Does anyone knows about this. Thanks.

You do not need to get an ECA for your foreign degree.

Your Canadian degree already gives you maximum points.

Thanks a lot,Dexmoody. Without certifying the undergrad degree, it saves a lot of time and hassle. I am also applying under FSW. Do you know if I can do the medical exam now or I need to wait until the ITA from CIC?

Wait for the ITA. Medicals are valid for just 1 year and your COPR validity depends on Medicals expiry as well as passport expiry date, whichever is earlier. The later you schedule your Medicals, the more time you'll have to land in Canada.
