About Employment Location on Open Work Permit (Restriction?)

Can an individual on Open Work Permit Canada appear for CPA Canada examination or does he / she have to apply for a Study permit as well ? Any help / references is appreciated.

but I think as long as you stay out from the quebec area you will be fine.

Actually not, a PGWP is a Open Work Permit that allows you to live and work anywhere in Canada, Québec included.

I know because I lived in Québec and got a Health Card there while on my PGWP

My work permit states location as Kitchener, I got my wp via flagpoling and the officer said it is ok. Should any employer need clarification they can call cic.

Hello Guys,

Thank you for all information.

I think our case is very similar, just to be sure I would like to ask your opinion While CIC help Centre is closed.

I have a work permit (not open) have no idea what is the difference and LoE says Quebec I have been working in Alberta since last year and now would like to apply for PR.

One lawyer told me that I was able to work only in QC and if I apply under AB it will bring a red flag over my file.
The only way is to go under QC program or to get new WP.

I am in same situation, Location on my wife's permit is Nova Scotia but i moved to Alberta. I talked to employer and told that its not condition but we are unable to get her health card.
