About Employment Location on Open Work Permit (Restriction?)

Hi everyone,

I have a quick question about my PGWP. I am currently in BC with this open work permit but I am trying to move to Ontario for a new job.

However on my work permit it says, EMP LOC : Vancouver. Does this mean that I can only work here in Vancouver?

No, it is an OWP, you can work where ever you wish.

I was just wondering because most of people I know have their employment location as "unknown" instead of specific location.

Hey,

I got into trouble because of the location so I would not be too sure.
They said I cannot work at location A because my Open work permit says Location B. I called CIC and they said its fine but the company had issues with it.
