About DD from Bangladesh

Hello friends. I just registered in this forum. I have applied On NOC 2281 last month and my payment method was DD. Does anyone from Bangladesh know how will I be informed that my DD has been encased.

as far as i know, SCB doesn't have any notification system for that, if you are an account holder then you might try via customer manager, otherwise we can only be sure about that once CIC send us the confirmation mail...

Does SCB has any validity period for DDs? As it will take 3-4 months before CIC encashes the DD..

I am looking forward to make a DD too from Dhaka. Where did you make it and what are the documents required? Do I need to be an account holder to make a DD from a bank and did the bank provide 6 month valid DD?

You can DD from Standard Chartard Bank at Gulshan Avenue in between Gulshan 1 and Gulshan 2. When I applied in that bank I required few forms supplied by the bank to be filled. I had to give them my IMM0008 form along with the Original Passports (for all members of the family). And finally I had to give them 92000 BDT for 3 members of my family. In general all cheques and Demand Drafts are valid for 6 months. Also, it is not necessary to have an account with the Bank to make a DD.
