Hi all, I am the main applicant of my PR application including dependents. I would like to get some suggestions regarding to my situation.

I have submitted my application and waiting further progress from IRCC. However, My other family member have some medical emergency and my family need to leave Canada for a period.

1. If I receive Confirm Physical Presence. Can I just go back Canada to confirm my physical presence and then leave again ?

2. Is it necessary for the dependents to go back and confirm physical presence? or I can reply my dependents are not inside Canada and they can still get their COPR afterward ?

Thanks very much

You must inform IRCC whether someone is out of Canada because applications are processed differently in and out of Canada. One gets stamping while other is electronic. Not updating your location and address is also misrepresentation which also could be very problematic.

i submitted my application when I and dependent are inside Canada.

So, Can I update IRCC when I receive the confirm physical presence ? I know that main applicant (thats me) need to confirm positive,

1. so I can go back to confirm the physical presence. Then update IRCC in the CPP email that the dependent are outside? or my dependent also need to go back to confirm physical presence ?

2. Can I leave after a week after I confirm physical presence ?

I am not going to telling lie, I love Canada. I still have home in Canada, I will come back, but not in a short period of time.

Not gonna tell a lie, there's a decent chance they'll just figure out you're not in Canada and not trying to, and just turn down your sponsorship app.

So that mean I update IRCC in webform now is better than update them when they call us to confirm physical presence.

Another point is, I can go back to Canada to confirm my physical presence. After this, is there any futher email or procedure which need me to physicay inside Canada to handle ?

Thanks

It might be better for you to leave and ask them to be processed as outland applicant.

After portal 1 email (confirmation of physical presence), there will be portal 2 and then eCOPR (when you virtually landed).
The wait between varies A LOT. I have seen days and months. And if you get your eCOPR OUTSIDE, that's 1) misrepresentation 2) create complicate situation when you renew your PR card and when you apply for citizenship. (the forms won't have options to fill in days OUTSIDE on your landing day)

Not sure what route you applied for your PR, but in your case, inform IRCC that you are outside and continue to process as outland so you can land when your get PPR and arrange a day that you can physically come back and land as PR.

Don't understand your question. IRCC will request police cert, medical and do background check of dependents (depending on age for these check) regardless if the dependents are inside or outside Canada.

Dependents can only land as PR after PA landed (virtually or physically). If they are outside and if PA is inside, they will get PPR after PA get eCOPR. There should be instruction when you get to that stage.

I see. Because I submitted the PR application when both me (PA) and dependent are inside Canada and plan to wait PR inside Canada. But my dependent need to temporary leave canada for a long peroid. So that why I would like to know what wull happen to,my dependent then. thanks
