The issue that I see is whether or not you have to prove ONE FULL YEAR of continuous employment with this job. The work period covered in the letter is a week short.

i just sent a case sensitive inquiry and attached my 2015 pay stubb. hopefully my application is not rejected due to this flaw i created :(

Just briefly explain everything in an axplanation letter and add as many documents as possible to prove you are still doing the same job. Pay stubs. Tax forms. Even emails between you and supervisors or clients that may show what you do for your job. Etc.
You can also ask a colleague to write an ammendment that you are doing the same job and that's fine.

hello everyone . last year i got my reference letter from my company hoping to get an ITA soon but it didn't work out . since i work for a big corporate i have to go through alot of supervisors to get the reference letter and i m not sure they will do the letter for me again . i got the ITA on 13th jan and now i am all set to file my eAPR. is there anyone who use an old reference letter and didn't face any problem ??. i am still with the same company and the letter is as per cic requirement . any input is appreciated. thanks

A reference letter gives an idea to the CIC agent on the type of work which is being done by you. While i am tempted to tell you that it will work can i suggest you if you can try to change the date of issuance while all contents remaining the same ( assuming you are working in the same organization). You can always approach the HR saying that you need a fresh letter with the dates updated while the contents remain the same.
