LOL! Jazzy....theres nothing like a "STUPID" question in this world.....if it is a question or a query it cant b 'Stupid' .....so relax.......but answering your query.....I havent been to Canada till now....but as I was living in different parts of Europe for last 4 years and climate is pretty much similar to canadian climate so I can certainly assure you that Pakistani jeans should work in Canada as fine as they used to work in Europe ( I am saying all this because I had many Pakistani friends who used to where Jeans which they used to bring in from Pakistan) :)

Dont worry friend you are alright with your pakistani pair of jeans and trust me all the jeans which are sold in western countries are either made in India, Bangladesh or Pakistan.... so I think there is no such thing as Pakistani jeans or Canadian jeans ,,, you can where either in Canada.

I hope answered your query in some sense :)

Regards!
Akshay

Thanks for the reply,

Price diff is much, an European standard jeans cost me less than 10 $ here in Pakistan

yeah everyone is right. Out quality jeans is basically the lowest quality in North America and even in europe.

So best advise is Buy your stuff from there. Like hoods, or uppers.

you can buy T-Shirts or Dress Suiting from here cuz they are cheap. But casual jeans and uppers DO NOT TAKE RISK. buy from there its not too expensive there.

Jeans are Jeans... not much difference in where you buy them. Quality makes a difference in terms of how it feels but thats another discussion topic.

Its not like canadian jeans are fur lined. Actually, its funny that some of the most expensive clothes you can buy here are made in india.

anyways, i would recommend buying your winter clothes in canada based on where you will be going such as fleecies, jackets, hats etc.

Shoes and stuff are the same. If you need to buy shoes for snow (insulated, non-slip, waterproof) etc, better to get them here. But then again, all this is the weather specific things that you should buy once you have an idea of what you are dealing with (snow in eastern canada, rain in western canada, a bit of both in central canada)

Nice piece of information from some one who already in Canada
Thanks Mate !

Obviously you don't have to come here with empty luggage. But still, it's about Fashion, And you will definitely land up doing shopping in the very first week. So just advising to save some money to buy stuff from here.
And please don't bring winter clothes from India. Trust me , they won't help you .
