canpuneet, you wouldnt have been so impatient I guess had you know what a large number of applicantions are dealt by the CHC's around the world. if the waiting has exceeded for more than 1-2 months, fax them or email them. again, they get tons of emails everyday from many sources, answering them to their merits is a tedious task for them

I applied through an agent as well.... My ECAS status remained the same... Visa Office Eligibility Review complete since Sept 2009 till last week--16th Feb 2010...

Latest status--- Received a letter from CHC today (dated 15th Feb) asking me to deposit visa fees again on the old file which they had initially closed and refunded the VPF... Thank God!

Wow that is great news. I think they have reopened your case again and what is VPF is it RPRF you are talking about ?

Hi,
The status in ECAS had earlier changed to "In Process"
Now under "In Process"...it says... We have reviewed your application and we started processing on 11th March 2010... Does that mean I should be getting medical request soon?
After ECAS status changes to this...how long does it take to get medical request? Can anyone who has been following their Ecas status let me know...

Finally...congrats...then it means that your application is eligible for processing and should now receive the medicals. Well the duration to receive them depends, I hope you receive your soon as many people received their medicals as soon as the status changed to In Process or ever before that (As online status gets updated on Monday or Tuesday). I received mine after 2.5 months. Best of luck

Thanks a lot Rocky... Had one more query... Will I have to deposit the RPRF before medicals, after or with the medicals?

In your case... after you submitted medicals...what happened and how long it took you to get the visa?

I submitted it along with my complete file. I think you will get it along with medicals request.

Finally!!!!!!! I have got the medical requests :D... Can't stop smiling!!!

I am currently in the UK right now and will be back only in the first week of April... My visa office is Delhi & stay in Noida.... Can anyone tell me where can I get the list of the medical centres in Delhi? I know they would be included with the medical requests but I do not have access to them from here... Is it somewhere online?

Do I need to book appoinment in advance? Please help...I do not want to waste a single day after I land in India to get the medicals done.

Congrats...canupeet.
You will get the list of medical doctors in CIC website itself.
All the best

Good luck Puneet!!

Hi,
My Imm reprsentative says that I need to submit my medicals, passports & RPRF within 45 days. I am not in India until 4th April, so can't check.
I always thought that the passports are requested after medical papers have been received by visa office and reviewed. Is it normal for passports to be requested with medical requests?

Anyone who has experience with it; please reply.

Hi, somebody reply please???

Is anyone aware of a case where passports are requested with the medicals?

Yes it is very normal and usually most of the cases they ask for these 3 documents together.

Thanks Rocky... You're a star!
