This is one of the most helpful forums for the immigrants to Canada.
Many honourable members are spending their valuable time to give suggestions and advice to immigrants in this forum.
I personally feel that the respectable members should be appreciated for their postings and comments.
When a member writes anything in this forum he or she writes about his or her feelings and experience.
We may or may not agree with the feelings of others and we are not bound to do that.
But we must show our respect for freedom of expressions of others.
Recently, I have come across quite a few postings by some of the members which I found offensive and disrespectful to the freedom of expressions of other respectable members.
Canada and Canadians are well known for their respect for freedom of expressions.
There are very powerful laws in Canada against anyone who shows disrespect to freedom of expressions of others.
I know that those members who are showing disrespect to other member's freedom of expressions are writing their comments from other countries as they are preparing to immigrate to Canada.
So, they are unaware of this.
I hope, from now on, everybody should show respect to other member's freedom of expressions.
If any of the comments or postings seem objectionable to any of us one can report this to the moderators of the forum.
This is important.
Because, those among us, who are unaware of the strong feelings and sentiments for freedom of expressions among Canadians, may unknowingly continue their behaviour once they are in Canada and as a result may find themselves in deep trouble with the Canadian law.
I also believe that it will be a good proposal to request every member to disclose their profession to us.
The members of this forum will be able to take informed decisions when they can learn from the suggestions given by other members.
Knowing the profession of the member who is giving advice will help us tremendously.
I believe everyone will be interested to learn about the profession of any member, giving us advice, back home, and if the member is already in Canada, what he or she is doing in Canada as a profession.
This will also allow us to obtain a real picture of immigrants in Canada.
Thank you very much.
