Thats true u need lawyer to handle this kind of case to cic to justify urself...that he was afraid to return back home...misguided by friends or relatives...etc....but i have a hope. ..cic will forgive him...reason he has wife and 2 kids who r PR holder. .....on humanitarian basis i think...only way to go....
Hiring a lawyer is no guarantee of anything. If you read the historic cases of appeals dealing with undeclared family members, you will see CIC is very unsympathetic when it comes to this, and denies almost everyone.
And even bringing the case up, with a lawyer or not, as I said may bring to CIC's attention the wife's misrepresentation in her own PR application and landing. As a worst case scenario she could still have her status revoked and be deported as well, regardless of if a lawyer is used. It's very risky to proceed in his case.
