A really strange Fourth line in my ECAS, what's going on?

Hi guys, a fourth line shows up in my ECAS today, but it's not DM. It's about the additional document request I received on July 28:

"We sent you correspondence on July 28, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required."

Well, that's the strangest and longest fourth line I've ever heard of! Actually the deadline is August 4 and I have submitted the requested IMM5604 on 31 July. So apparently it's a lagging message. But the point is: who would put a request message on ECAS? Boy, CIC is never gonna run out of new tricks...

Anyone has ever seen a similar fourth line? What does it signify?

It is indeed weird but still a good sign that CIC continues to process your application and it hasn't gone into cold storage.

Oh, that's a relief. Thank you! Did they get this fourth line in the recent couple of days?

Thank you! When did this happen to you? It shocked me a little and I had to double check MY CIC account to make sure that the requested document was indeed successfully uploaded and submitted.

It seems that CIC is forever making experiments... Hope that's a good sign anyway. Gook luck to us all!

I have the same line but for me, they had asked for RPRF. A week after that, I got PPR. So hopefully it means good news for you

I got one last 05 Aug. Then 06 Aug. morning. My Ecas change to In Process.

It happened Friday but the doc request was on Wednesday and I uploaded the doc the same day.

Hope we can get more professional response next week. KaydenB reported his ECAS is now Decision Made despite no update at all in his MyCIC. He had doc request on Tuesday.

I currently have the same 4th line on ECAS.
Here's what happened :

- 4 AUG : Schedule A request (for my spouse)
- 4 AUG : Schedule A submitted
- 6 AUG : ECAS updated to "In Process" from "Application Received" + 4th line
- 7 AUG : CIC ghost update email
- 8 AUG : ECAS updated to "Decision Made" from "In Process"

However, even with "Decision Made" there's no update at all in MyCIC. No 5th lign in ECAS nor sign of PPR either.

Thank you for such positive information. Hopefulguy also got PPR the same day this fourth line appeared. So ppr may come sooner or later. Keeping my fingers crossed...

Yes, if they are asking more docs from you, at least it shows it is moving along. So fingers crossed for you

Even Singalingali had the same line added to the ECAS.
