my ecas says "Decision Made" ?

when I click on it, it shows:

My Ecas says medical results received ever since it was transfered to Buffalo. I hope the results were transfered to NYC when the file was transfered.

my husband's says that now... but, when it was first transferred to NYC, ecas said nothing about medicals being received... so we did some faxing and sorted it out! i WISH ecas was updated letting us know when the passport was going to be sent back!

yeah, unfortunately they don't update that info there..... nothing in the box today either.

its a shame that they can take our passports and keep for more than a month. What if we need to fly somewhere for emergency.

Are you going to receive your husband's passport in Canada or in Bermuda?

I am guessing that NY does not allow passport drop off and pick up in person? I live less than 1 mile from the consulate and it would be so convenient for me to drop off the passport in person instead of having to mail it in.

it is too bad that they keep the passports for so long! i feel so bad for my husband... he's living and working in a bermuda, but is a citizen of portugal. i would feel lost living somewhere like that without my passport! the fedex envelope that we sent was addressed for it to go to bermuda... hopefully that will happen!!!

I also included a prepaid fedex envelop, but I wouldn't be surprised if they ignore it and mail using regular US mail (I remember reading about some cases like that)

well... yesterday, my husband did receive a package from NY!! but... they were just returning the proof of the relationship that we had sent... photos, etc. so, that's a good sign. but... no passport. still. 24 business days for us. c'mon NY!!!

seriously. anyone able to guess how much longer we are going to have to wait?

my husband and i recently decided that instead of him staying in bermuda and finishing his work contract... he is going to come to canada as soon as his passport is returned!! this is making the waiting a whole lot harder.

hello!!!

my husband finally got his passport back!!! apparently, they didn't want to use the fedex envelope we sent... and we had to wait a bit longer because the sent it via regular post. but, he has it in his hands!!! wooohooo!! now, he will be here at the end of may! i can't wait!!
