Two things I would like to point out:

1) What about Masters degree holders of a country who want to go for further studies in Canada? Is MPhil+ the only option for them? Or they can go for another Masters?

2) In some countries like India, a Bachelors degree (besides Engg. and some others) is only 15 years of formal education whereas one needs 16 years of formal education (or 4 yrs Bach degree) to study a Masters in Canada. For example, I have done my 3 yr B.Com. and then went on to do a 2 yr M.Com. because without that I would be ineligible to apply to many programs in Canada. Moreover, the M.Com. isn't even very valuable because it's just a distance education degree, but yes, it fulfils the "16 years requirement". Does that mean I cannot go for a Masters in Canada anymore?
In my idea your case is totally fine if you apply for a master degree in Canada. But don't forget that master need to be somehow related to your previous studies not irrelevant. Thanks for your comment.

Guys, without any disrespect to anyone, I would like to remind ourselves that this is a forum and people are sharing their own views, which might be or might not be totally correct; we are not professionals in immigration/visa cases. We are students who are going for studies in different fields. So what am84pm shared here was his view (he said in the post that this is his view only and we might take information from other sources as well), he was not bound to share this information, but he did only to help people out. I think we all should respect that and be a little more humble in telling him whether he is right or not.

I will not comment on the authenticity or applicability of his views here because thats altogehter a different story.

I would just like to say sorry on behalf of others to am84pm for the harsh words that we have used. You sure are awake, thats why you posted such a long post to help people. Don't stop doing that even if some of us respond in a harsh way.

And for all of us, I would say, we are educated people and we sure know the manners to humbly talk to other people, thats one of the things what education has taught us apart from machines/money matters and other things.

I hope I have not been harsh to anyone. If it seemed so at any point, it was totally not so and was not intended.

Kind Regards to all.
