I am currently a Manager of a retail store, whom has employed a foreign worker with a LMO for the last 2 years. Service Canada has basically told me I have no hope in hell in renewing the LMO.
So I am willing to sponsor this employee under the BCPNP. My company has agreed to the sponsorship, we do not want to lose this employee.
The job offer is there, what we struggle on is the salary that seems to be in excess of the normal rates for the job the employee does. We are promoting him to supervisor, this would fall under a semi skilled NOC B. The salary, deemed average for this position by Service Canada, is far in excess what a normal salary would be. Whether we paid a Canadian or foreign worker.
How do we get this point across to the BCPNP people??.
Any employer out there able to give their stories???
