I recently submitted our passports to Detroit, and was doing some research regarding the landing process in Douglas POE - white rock, BC. However, I did find some cases that made me have some concerns. The POE officer refused some new PNP PRs to enter into Canada b/c of their no intention to live the provinces nominated them. As well, I found the bulletin on CIC webiste saying if an officer at POE find the PNP immigrants have NO intention or NO LONGER have intention to live the province nominated them, he/she has the right to withdraw the PR visa.

My case is my wife and I are NBPNP, and I have been studying and living in NB for almost 5yrs. Recently, my wife is pregnant. Considering of some cultural issues, we temporarily moved to BC - only b/c of her pregnancy. I still have business in NB, and our medicare and drive license are both NB's. We do plan to go back NB after having our baby so we don't change anything from NB to BC. But I'm worrying about our temporary move making the officer feel we have no longer intention to live in NB. Someone told me that usually the officer at the airport will check out your next flight ticket to the nominated province and your address in that province. However, we have to book the return ticket after ensuring our baby is ok with the long trip. Does anyone in this forum have the same experience that can be shared with me? Or any suggestions?

Thanks a lot in advance.
