Check out the CIC website:

"To be eligible to study in Canada... You must satisfy an immigration officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your authorized stay."
But my plan is to study in Canada in order go get a post graduation visa and then become PR.
What am I supposed to do if an immigration officer asks me about that? I don't wanna lie.

Hi,

1. The concept of "Dual Intent" comes into picture when you are applying for a study permit (or other permits) while your PR application is under processing. To counter it, you must be able to prove/show of your intention of leaving Canada at the end of your authorized stay if your application for PR is "refused".
