You studied full time for at least 16 months (that is, two academic years) in a post-secondary school located in Canada. (Note: Long-distance learning does not qualify.)

This is a requirement for international student who wants to apply for permanent residence.

I studied at a college for one year, the program is first year university transfer.
I find I dont really like it,so I apply for another college. This time the program is aircraft gas turbine technician. Is a one year program, after one year study I can get an certificate.

My question is 16 months studied should be in one school?

Full time 16 months education is count by program, not by school. That means the duration of your program from the beginning to graduation should take 16 months or more.
