and more than 15 months long journey with CIC
Eye of the tiger finally became a Canadian Citizen !

• Applied in December 2017
• The package is back because of missed form
• Accepted March 2018
• In process April 2018
• Finger print requested August 2018
• Citizenship interview and exam October 2018
• Invitation to the Oath February 2019
• Oath ceremony March 2019

Congratulations! So, tell us how it feels.

Does the water taste different? Air smells different? Does the sky look any more skyblue? Trees any greener? Feeling more at home? What was it like to wake up in the next morning after you became a Canadian? Was it like the feeling of a floating gas-balloon?

In your everyday talking, have you replaced phrases like "Canadians do that...." with "We do that..." ?
