I really don't mean to moan (I know some people on here have worst issues then ours) but I have a feeling people here will understand what I'm on about, I left a post the other day about getting ''Decision made'' on our application status (our Decision made for sponsorship had been granted in August 2014) having checked the application status via the CIC website everyday since August 2014 - you kinda get used to seeing ''Application received'' since June 2014 you begin think it'll never change, I began to think ''no news is good news'' on 12th of August of this year we received an email via our lawyer that new medicals were required since our first had expired, we promptly got our 2nd set of medicals done! and then seeing it go to ''In Progress'' a week or so after that you begin to think - are we really getting somewhere at last! and then - nothing ........ until the early hours of 31st October a Saturday! you know the feeling you wake at 5am and think ''I'll just check the status again'' I jumped out of my skin DECISION MADE!!! on first page - nothing regarding this on the second more detailed page! I wake my wife and share the news! I contact our lawyer on Monday morning - ask him if he has any idea whats going on he says they'll be in touch in due course, (after our lawyer took our money and submitted the papers he's hardly responded to any emails over the last year so I was pleased to get that out of him)

I thought I'd be on cloud 9 getting a DM I just feel very down and in limbo right now, for my family and future, we have had no other correspondence from CIC other then the request for second medicals - which they haven't acknowledged on the second page, will they require an interview? anything else? our application is family sponsorship my wife is Canadian and my son and I are British (an outland application I believe) we are in Canada now and have been since August 2014 I'm on a visitors visa (1 year) which i was issued (without asking) at the Peace Bridge in September of this year, before that I was returning to the UK every six months and returning and my son has a study permit,

I'm sorry for moaning as I said I'm aware others are having a hard time, I just needed to get this of my chest. How much longer will we need to wait? - who knows! will I get a letter an email, will it go to our lawyer?

Hello, in the same boat as you got decision made on Oct 31st when you click on decision made, is there a line item that states they sent you correspondence of the decision on XXXX date, when i click on DM i do not see that line item. I think you said your application was processed in Ottawa?

Yea i am in the same boat, the last line is about a document request they sent to me on October 20th which I responded to. Weird....

Off topic but Jamesliam15 please provide the following info so I can add you to the London spreadsheet (link is in my signature).

Would you like to be added? If so please provide the following:

-Date application received in Mississauga
-Whether you applied as Married or Common-Law
-Date of sponsor approval
-Which office is processing Phase 2 of your application (will say on your sponsor approval letter/email)
-Date the permanent residence status changed to In Process on ECAS
-Date(s) of any other requests you've had
-Whether or not the principal applicant is non-visa exempt
-Decision Made date
-Date you received your visa
-Current location of the principal applicant- closest major city is fine if you don't want to be too specific!
-Date of medical exam

Strange there is no fourth line regarding correspondence? Some say that's no big deal, still I'd like to see it! Or indeed hear something soon - this is driving me mad

Your COPR will be sent in the mail. It can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks after DM to arrive. If you gave your lawyer's address for correspondence, it will got here. Otherwise, it will be sent to you.
