Hi All,

Need your expertise!

Good news is that I have been asked to pay RPRF today
however, just to let you all know that I have already done with medicals and received by CIC ( updated in ECAS).
So Medicals done and got RPRF request .

I want to know what all documents I need send them?
Should I send it via Courier or Email with requested documents.

FYI: I have submitted all documents including PCC.

Below is the draft from the attached document sent to me by CIC.

In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following:


 UID & MY NAME ***
 Medical: Complete or provide proof of completion of the Immigration medical examination for you This must be received at this office by: 2015/04/29
 RPRF: Pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee for you This must be received at this office by: 2015/04/29

(Date format is YYYY/MM/DD)


Failure to submit them within that time period could result in the refusal of your application. Please quote our complete file number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to the High Commission at the address indicated below.

PLEASE RETURN THIS FORM WITH THE REQUESTED DOCUMENTS.

Hi, after passport request is visa processing and issuance. If there are no issues from your criminality checks, your visa will be issued. Cheers.

Hi Pipis Husband,

The letter from VO cites online payment as an option , but it dont specify . Now , when i try to pay online , i dont see FSW class to pay , i see Family class , Provincial nomination , Quebec skilled , Humanatarian etc etc .

Is it still okay if i pay CAD 150 online by clicking on family class , or the payment will be counted invalid

Hi, congratulations. Please print the email you got from your VO, attach a copy of the receipt the hospital gave you when you paid for the medical examination and you are okay.

In addition to what PIPIS has suggested, please note as under:
U being NDVO applicant,u are required to pay RPRF @ Rs24200/=(effective 13/03/2015),per unit in the form of Demand Draft in favor of "CANADIAN HIGH COMMISSION", PAYABLE AT NEW DELHI.Make sure to write name of principal applicant nd his/her date of birth on the back of the demand draft.

yes, it is possible to be rejected at that stage. This is why VO expressly states in their correspondences that one should not make any plans until the visa is issued.

Hi, I have no idea. Most people who get rejected do not share their experiences on the forum. However, it is pertinent to point out that if a background check should come back as negative at visa issuance stage, it will lead to repeal of the issued visa.

It is the rarest of rare chance that a person would get refusal after ecas starts showing "DM". As this stage ,ecas is updated only when a final decision is made by VO on the basis of recommendations made by junior level officers who are specifically designated to check the RELEVANT parameter for determining admissibility criteria set by CIC.
The under noted diagram may help us:

ECAS OBSERVATION WHAT DOES IT IMPLY

application has been recvd preliminary check at cic completed nd ist AOR ISSUED.
1ST LINE on.............

2ND LINE FILE TRANSFERRED TO VO Paper file created nd 2ND AOR issued .

3rd line PROCESSING BEGINS ON----- ELIGIBILITY/QUALITATIVE CHECK AT VO BEGINS ND FINISHES TO
CALL FOR MR/ADDITIONAL DOCS.
4RTH LINE Medical results have been recvd. Designated MO at VO REVIEWS medical reports nd makes his/her
positive observation for issue of visa.

5th line Decision has been made...... The designated VO gives his/her final approval on the basis of
observations/recommendations made by Junior level officers.


Visa is denied Only if an applicant fails TO CLEAR the Security check .

Hi guys, this is to confirm receipt of my PR visa, picked up the package this morning from DHL.

Here's a rundown of my time line;

12/05/2014 - Application received at CIO
31/08/2014 - PE received
27/01/2015 - Medical/RPRF request
29/01/2015 - RPRF paid
30/01/2015 - Medicals done
09/03/2015 - Passport request
11/03/2015 - Passport sent
20/03/2015 - Visa issued
01/04/2015 - Passport collected
