Hi rajeevadoor, CIO does not need the OTP from your bank to be able to debit your credit card. All they need is your authorisation which you gave when you signed the fee payment form.rajeevadoor said:Dear Seniors, Kindly help...
I have send my docs to CIC, which they have received it on July 30 through DHL. I had put in my Credit card details for the payment, but recently my bank strictly asked me to put in a security code additionally for any online transactions. So this is not updated to CIC officers. For the same reason i have send a DD of the same amount to CIC on October end through DHL. My worry is how will they correlate these two files. We havent received any file number too. Do I have to call CIC office? if so the direct number? or email contact?
Kindly send me your suggestions and wish me good luck.
a newbie.
There was no need to send the DD but if you sent the DD and included a cover letter which contained your full name, passport number and the date they received the previous application, they will match it up for you. If they are able to successfully charge your credit card, your DD will be returned to you by regular mail.
However, you will not receive any notification if they received your first application or the second one. You will have no way to track them, this is the same for all applicants. If your application is accepted, you will receive your PER in your email.
All the best
