Count me in for your help bro .... me faced the same thing in Toronto when my so called friend told me that he is at work :( I am located in Surrey near to Vancouver . I can help people who don't have anybody here and will help in finding accomodation and all :)

You have to show the letter that you got with your visa and offer letter . Thats it
But sometimes they ask for all documents including marksheets and diplomas , ielts .
So make sure you have these documents with you .

However , i was asked for all documnts at germany where i changed my flight ..

Whenever you change connwcting flight or go to cbsa ... Make sure you have all your documnts with you ...

Your study permit will be issued by cbsa only ... Still others at immgration on connecting fligjts can also check your docs ..

Carry orignals .. Hope that helps :)

Tell him to frward you the welcome letter or letter that came with visa ..
I dont know its name exactly .. Its urgent to carry it with you to get you study permit :)
