A joint HRSDC/MICC confirming letter/CAQ processing time (My time line)

Dear All,

I have applied for temporay job in Quebec.

The employer submitted my application for CAQ in MICC and HRSDC

My question is that how long it will take to approve CAQ or confirmation letter ?

One months finished still waiting for approval.

Please help..

usually it takes a month. There are times it may take a little longer if they have inquiries.

Actually MICC contacted 2 times from my employer
1- Text document required / company registration doc etc
2- Telephonic confirmation from my employer

Now still waiting

Hi Niaz4one,

they took quiet a time by the way, this is my case:

Employer submitted LMO submitted to HRSDC: Febrary 03, 2012.
EmMployer submitted LMO and CAQ to MICC: May 03, 2012.
MICC requested original forms (CAQ): July 20, 2012
HRSDC issued LMO and MICC issued CAQ: July 31,2012.

It took complete 6 months from date of submission till both received.

I am a bit in the same situation. It is actually ore than 2 months since I have filed. Did you receive your CAQ/LMO? What was your timeline?

Did your employer apply for LMO? what type of position is it? I am asking because for IT work the turnaround time is 3-4 weeks.

Hello 'gnewstuff'... Yes. Both the LMO & CAQ was bundled together and sent to MICC. My position is of Systems designer. ....
